Aheb Masr by Yasmina of Cairo

Yasmina of Cairo presents her third release with much anticipation. Dance to a mix of older songs composed by Baligh Hamdi and Mohamed Abdel Wahab along with contemporary pieces such as "Aheb Masr" and "Tribute to Samia Gamal" by Reda Saad. The CD includes both instrumentals and vocals featuring several different styles -- Nubian, Balady, Sha'abi and Classical Egyptian. Most selections are approximately 6 minutes with a dynamic, full length opening number.
